Flat sealant
Solid gaskets are usually used for sealing between planes. Due to the roughness and knife marks of flat machining, it is uneven at the microscopic level, and solid pads cannot adhere to the machined surface. However, solid pads age due to temperature, medium, and mechanical forces, causing looseness and leakage. The Huayu series flat sealant is a single component adhesive liquid with good medium resistance. usage method:
Firstly, remove impurities from the sealing surface and clean the mating surface with HY755 cleaning agent.
2. Apply sealant to one of the sealing surfaces to form a closed rubber ring, and also apply glue around the bolt holes.
Within 20 minutes after applying glue, align and assemble, wipe off excess glue, and immediately seal with less pressure.
If it is necessary to adjust the gap and add shims, both sides of the shims should be coated with glue at the same time, and then assembled.
matters needing attention:
1. Anaerobic adhesive solidifies under anaerobic conditions, so it cannot exceed a larger sealing gap. It is also not suitable for use in plastics, pure oxygen or oxygen rich media, and is not suitable for sealing strong oxidizing materials.
2. Silicone adhesive absorbs moisture and solidifies. Unused products should be sealed and stored.
3. After curing, the adhesive is a safe and non-toxic substance. Avoid contact with the skin before curing. Children are strictly prohibited from playing.
4. Store in a cool and dry place, with a shelf life of 9 months.
