Rubber adhesive for drum wrapping
HY978 rubber adhesive is a modified chloroprene rubber, which has excellent properties such as medium viscosity, high strength, rapid curing at room temperature, aging resistance, high bonding strength, good toughness, and can be loaded and operated after bonding. Rubber adhesive is widely used for on-site coating of belt conveyor drum surfaces, as well as for bonding rubber with metal canvas and metal at room temperature.

& nbsp; Joint preparation:< br />
& nbsp; 1. Use tools to tighten and secure the tape. Draw the lap length, diagonal cut, and lap step on the tape as shown in the diagram. Pay attention to the direction of operation! Tape overlap length L=tape width× 0.6~0.8, oblique section=tape width× 0.3< br />
& nbsp; 2. Use a cutting knife and a layering screwdriver to cut the tape layer by layer into a stepped shape. Do not damage the lower woven fabric when cutting each layer. The edge of the tape should be cut flat with each woven layer< br />
& nbsp; 3. Carefully roughen and dry the bonding surface. Do not damage the woven fabric when plucking, brush off the debris< br />
& nbsp; After the two joints are made, they should be overlapped together to check their dimensional accuracy. There should be no gaps between each step< br />
& nbsp; Adhesive process:< br />
& nbsp; 1. Press A: B=10: Mix thoroughly and evenly in a 1:1 ratio, and use up within 2 hours< br />
& nbsp; 2. Use a short and hard brush to evenly apply two coats of mixed conveyor belt joint adhesive solution on the joint surface. Three layers of adhesive must be applied on the coarse mesh woven fabric. After brushing, the adhesive should be dry to the surface and no longer adhere to the back of the fingers< br />
& nbsp; After the coating is dry, align and bond the two joints. Roll the joint with a roller to ensure 100% compaction< br />
& nbsp; 4. The adhesive tape should be left to stand for 30 minutes before being tensioned< br />
& nbsp; 5. Seal the two interface seams with HY988 rubber repair agent< br />

& nbsp; 1. Avoid construction in low temperature and humid environments below 15 ℃ and above 90% humidity< br />
& nbsp; 2. Store in a low-temperature dry place with a shelf life of 18 months.
